Matius Ho is the Executive Director of Institut Leimena in Jakarta. He leads the development of the Cross-Cultural Religious Literacy program which since 2021 has trained thousands of teachers in Indonesia on competencies to strengthen a peaceful multi-religious and multicultural society. Under his leadership, Institut Leimena has built partnerships and collaborations with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia and many leading religious and educational institutions. He has been invited to speak about the program in several countries. He wrote about Indonesia in The Routledge Handbook of Religious Literacy, Pluralism, and Global Engagement (2021). Previously, he worked in Indonesia and Singapore with Accenture, a multinational consulting firm, and served as Deputy Secretary of Yayasan Akademi Leimena, the predecessor of Institut Leimena, before co-founding the institute in 2005. He received his S1 and S2 degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison (USA).
