Dr. Abidin Wakano, M.Ag., is the Rector and a lecturer at A.M. Sangadji State Islamic University, Ambon. Formerly with Dian/Interfidei (2002–2007) and Secretary General of KAHMI Maluku (2007–2011), he now serves as Deputy Chair of NU Maluku and Director of ARMC IAIN Ambon. He earned his doctoral degree from the Postgraduate Program of Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University, Yogyakarta.
