Andar Nubowo is the Executive Director of the Maarif Institute. A dedicated member of the Muhammadiyah Student Association (IMM), he began his higher education at Sunan Kalijaga State Islamic University (UIN), Yogyakarta. He earned his Master’s degree in Political Science from the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris, France, in July 2008. Since 2010, he has pursued a Ph.D. program at the École Normale Supérieure (ENS) Lyon in Paris, France, and successfully earned his doctoral degree in December 2023.
