H.E. Dr. Fajar Riza UI Haq, M.A. is the Vice Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of Indonesia. He previously served as Special Advisor to the Minister of Education and Culture (2016–2019) and to the Minister of State Secretary for Social and Cultural Affairs (2020–2024). An alumnus of UGM, MIT, and Tsinghua University, he authored influential works on Islam, pluralism, and democracy, leaving a legacy of moderation and humanity.
