Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, M.A.P., is the Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Cultural Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia since October 2019. Before, he was appointed as the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia in 2016-2019. He was also the Rector of Muhammadiyah University of Malang from 2000 to 2016. Muhadjir was Chairman of Muhammadiyah’s Central Board of Education and Culture (2015-2020).
