H.E. Robert Matheus Michael Tene is appointed as the Deputy Secretary-General (DSG) of ASEAN for the Political-Security Community from 2021 to 2024. He also provides leadership in the implementation of the APSC Blueprint 2025 and leads the APSC Department at the ASEAN Secretariat. As a seasoned diplomat with over 25 years of experience, he had served various appointments at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Indonesia. He was a Senior Official at the Directorate General for ASEAN Cooperation at the MFA of Indonesia, prior to joining the ASEAN Secretariat in 2019.
