Maruarar Siahaan is a Senior Fellow of the Leimena Institute and has led its Legal and Judicial Studies Taskforce since 2013. He also served as Rector of the Indonesian Christian University in Jakarta. With over three decades in Indonesia’s judiciary, he previously served as Chief Judge of the Bengkulu and North Sumatra High Courts. Appointed as one of the first Constitutional Court Judges in 2003, he served until 2009.
