Profile

Greg Mitchell serves as the Chair of the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Roundtable in Washington, D.C., an inclusive, multi-faith, and equal civic space that has demonstrated how religious and belief communities can engage cooperatively across their deepest differences, building mutual respect, trust, and reliance while working together to engage governments and advance freedom of thought, conscience, and religion for all. Greg also serves as the Chair of the IRF Secretariat, a non-governmental organization established as a global leadership and coordination mechanism for the FORB movement. With support from the Templeton Religion Trust, the IRF Secretariat is building a global network of civil society roundtables and preparing to launch a three-year project designed to institutionalize a new approach to the movement—centered on cooperative engagement (which respects/protects the dignity of others and the freedom of conscience) as well as strategic planning, alignment, and coordination
